How It's Made

Made to order, by a real person, in California

NestForma isn't a warehouse. Every piece you see is 3D printed to order in our small studio in Yucaipa, California — one item at a time, only after you place your order. Nothing sits in a box waiting; your piece is made specifically for you.

The process

  1. You choose. Pick your design and your color at checkout. With 13+ colors (and glowing translucents for the lamps), no two orders have to look alike.
  2. We print. Your piece is printed on professional Bambu Lab equipment from plant-based PLA bioplastic. A typical piece takes several hours of print time.
  3. We finish by hand. Every print is removed, cleaned up, hand-inspected, and prepared for shipping by a person — not a machine line. If it isn't right, we reprint it.
  4. We ship it to you. Free US shipping, with tracking. Allow 3–5 business days of production before your order ships.

Real designs, properly licensed

We partner with independent designers from around the world and produce their work under official commercial license as a Hive Authorized Seller (Hive ID: NKXN5N61L9). That means the designs are authentic and every purchase supports the artist who created them — not a copy, not a knock-off.

Why layered texture is a feature

3D printing builds each piece in fine layers. That subtle texture catches the light in a way molded plastic never does — it's the signature of something made, not mass-produced. Slight variation between pieces is normal, and part of the charm.
